Development Journey
Advanced simulations: at Pulsaart we use advanced simulations to design telematics antenna solutions. We address compact antenna solutions, evaluate coupling and diversity, predict the effect of material on propagation, and other key parameters. We provide a functional solution for the connected object up to a full car at 6GHz.
Fast measurements: we can prototype our solutions using a range of technologies and suppliers. We validate our simulations with fast and accurate measurements in our anechoic chambers, right up to the complete connected object.
Drive test: at the final development stage, we perform validation tests according to norms as well as drive tests and results analyses. Our solutions are validated in real conditions.

Coated glass is an advanced glass product where a thin layer of metal, called coating, is applied on the glass which improves the thermal insulation of the glazing. This coating can interfere with radio and telephone waves.

Invisible antennas :
Superior aesthetics: Pulsaart takes advantage of the coating's properties to create antennas completely invisible to the final customer. Our unique patented technology supports the design of high performance antennas while preserving the aesthetics of the vehicle, regardless of the type of coated glass. We can fit almost any antenna type from Broadcast to Telematics in coated glazing (backlite or windshield).
Wavethru
Where coated glass traditionally interferes with radio and telephone waves, our solution allows these waves to be propagated without the need for additional devices - supporting phone communication inside the vehicle. Additionally, Pulsaart can deal with RFID*, tolling and V2X** sensors positioned behind metalized coating.

Our troubleshooting methods can intervene throughout the life of a vehicle.
Electromagnetic compatibility: by partnering with our design services at the beginning of the digital development, the car OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is able to confirm the vehicle's electromagnetic compatibility with antennas (EMC) from early prototypes.
Connectivity problems solving: during the vehicle lifetime, drivers may encounter connectivity problems in the passenger compartment (interference, lack of signal, noise). We are able to solve these faults in order to re-establish effective connectivity within the car. This service is ideally suited for the after-market.

The frequency range of the chambers is from 60MHz to 18GHz and the very large shielded room (>15 meters) allows the measurement of objects of a wide range of sizes and weights (such as cars, satellites, drones, small buses, etc). The chamber mechanisms can support up to 3 tonnes.

2D Far-field

Our anechoic chamber is designed to perform Far Field measurement of broadcast / telematics antennas and systems using the 2D Dual-Pol Far Field system. The chamber configuration and software suite allow us to predict the antenna behavior on any ground type.
The final result is close to Far Field behaviour.

The anechoic chamber can also perform measurements using a multi-probe arch or 3D Gantry arm system. These techniques ensure fast, accurate results in all directions around the object.
Mostly used for telematics and high end connectivity objects (drones, satellites, etc), this method provides a 3D measurement sphere around the object and for the complete object.

Pulsaart is an initiative of AGC Automotive Europe created in 2021 which aimed at providing an answer to all antenna connectivity challenges. The highly skilled team of engineers benefits from the long experience and advanced equipment of the Japanese group, while offering the flexibility, reactivity and creativity of a young startup.
Pulsaart is built on AGC Group's brand statement « Your Dreams, Our Challenge » always keeping in mind the spirit of our founder « Never take the easy way out, but confront difficulties ».
